Bridging the gap between knowledge and exposure, The Industry Interaction Cell of IIM Jammu plays an imperative role in providing holistic development to its students.

IIC is committed to enhancing the collaboration between academia and industry, ensuring that students are well-informed about the latest advancements in various management disciplines. To achieve this goal, IIC frequently invites distinguished industry professionals to deliver guest lectures to the students.

These accomplished speakers come from diverse fields, such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Operations. The objective of these sessions is to impart valuable knowledge to the students by providing them with first-hand insights into how different industries operate. Each event may differ in content, but the central theme of knowledge transfer to students remains a top priority. With industry experts from leading names such as Netflix, Adobe, Google, PepsiCo, Apollo Health and Lifestyle, Samsung, HCCB and many more, these guest lectures serve as an excellent platform for students to understand the application of conceptual knowledge and learn about current corporate trends.

IIC has successfully hosted speakers from a wide range of companies and industries, conducting sessions both online as well as in person for the benefit of the institute's budding management aficionados. IIC looks forward to continuing this valuable initiative under the capable leadership of our esteemed Director, Dr. B.S. Sahay and Dr. Jabir Ali, Chairperson of Placement.

It is our constant endeavor at IIM Jammu to strengthen the industry-academia partnership to keep the students abreast of the latest trends and developments in different functional areas of management. To achieve this, a dedicated committee for Industry Interaction (IIC[iic@iimj.ac.in]) regularly invite eminent speakers from the industry to deliver guest lectures to the students. These leaders come from varying domains ranging from Finance to Marketing and HR to operations. The experiences and knowledge shared by the guests in these sessions have helped the students to get a real world-view inside the industry.

IIM-Jammu works toward creating a thriving culture for the budding managers of the country and with its constant effort aspire to be the finest B-school in the country.
