Course Structure of MBA (Healthcare) Program
The course structure of MBA (HA&HM) Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete:
- 64.5 core course credits in the first year
- 3.0 credits from the 8-10 weeks long Summer Internship Program with a company or organization from healthcare industry;
- 3.0 credits from one ‘Course of Independent Study (CIS)’ in the second year: one in a hospital
- 42.0 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year
Additionally, students are permitted to:
- Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees. The gradesreceivedin audit courses will not be counted for TGPA/ CGPA calculations. However, the students are required to obtainapassing grade in the audit course.
- Student Exchange Program: Merit Based
- National and International Live Projects (non-credit)

- Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA (Healthcare) program.
- Summer Internship Project (SIP): 8 to 10 weeks with a company or an organization. It has 3.0 credit units assigned to it.
Second Year Course Structure
A student must take 45.0 credits from elective courses offered during the second year and 3.0 credits from one Course of Independent Study (CIS).
